I'm sorry to hear the
news that Takeshi Aono, the second actor to play Sir Topham Hatt in the
Japanese dub of Thomas, died a few days ago, I greatly remember when first discovering
the Japanese versions of the classic Thomas episodes on Youtube in 2007, and
hearing him voice the head of the railway in the ones from series 5, but I suppose
life goes on, and no offence, but he was an elderly man, and these things
happen, and I'm sure the Japanese Thomas fandom will always remember him, for
being the actual voice of The Fat Controller in a country Thomas is known to be
extremely popular in, is certainly a great contribute to our number one engine.
