Sir Top, Sir Topham Hatt, he's on my egg cup

Like many fans, I have a great collection of things out of the old Thomas Wedgewood range, but I’ve never seen anything like this before, an egg cup of The Fat Controller with some chickens.

The holy grail for any Thomas fan 1985

Despite collecting since when I was a kid in Thomas's heyday, and having over 200 of them, I'm still buying Ertl Thomas trains of which I haven't got, and what I bought off eBay last week, will be the envy of many a fan.

Intresting isn't it, it's brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Mum for finding them.

3 New Hornby Trucks

Yes, even though they're not Thomas related, I've got 3 new Hornby trucks to add to my collection, of which I've been waiting for quite  sometime.

This is the wagon to commemorate 15 years of the Hornby Collector Magazine, of which I'm a subscriber. Being blue, it does look good behind Thomas.

Next is the one I've got for 15 years of the Hornby Roadshow. I usually get the annual truck for the Hornby Roadshow, but this, by far, the best.

And last, but not least, the annual Hornby truck, celebrating 40 yearssince Tri-ang Hornby was renamed Hornby, it is very diifferent I must admit. I thought within Hornby being the offical toy company for the 2012 olimpics, we would have a Hornby truck with the olimpic rings on it, like on my Thomas background. They were saying on the television the other day about not being allowed to bring in any food or wear any clothes with logos on them into the stadium, if they are not offical products of the olimpics, so you could take one of your Hornby trains in, if you're lucky enougth to have tickets.

And here's some random pics I took with Thomas

Thank you very much for reading, and I would like to wish good luck to Mr. Sarkozy.

Thomas Magazine issue 638

I got it three days ago when I was in town, I've already got two Take - n - play knock-off Thomass from previous issues, but as you can see, this one came with Annie and Clarabel.

And as you can also see, I got the Winston poster inside it.

It would almost be the classic scene of Thomas with Annie and Clarabel, but

Their faces were the wrong way round,

oh well, it's still great to add to the collection.

Thanks for reading!

New BMM pic?

I found it on a Japanese Thomas site, it looks like it's from Blue Mountain Mystery, and I think it probubly is, for it's the last time we're going to see of Nitrogen's animation.

RIP Takeshi Aono

I'm sorry to hear the news that Takeshi Aono, the second actor to play Sir Topham Hatt in the Japanese dub of Thomas, died a few days ago, I greatly remember when first discovering the Japanese versions of the classic Thomas episodes on Youtube in 2007, and hearing him voice the head of the railway in the ones from series 5, but I suppose life goes on, and no offence, but he was an elderly man, and these things happen, and I'm sure the Japanese Thomas fandom will always remember him, for being the actual voice of The Fat Controller in a country Thomas is known to be extremely popular in, is certainly a great contribute to our number one engine.

My Thomas Buzz books

By the time I was 5 years old, I had managed to collect all the Thomas the Tank Engine Ladybird books, butthe only Thomas Buzz book I ever got was Saved From Scrap, but in recent years, I've started seeing them at car boot sales, and last week, I got 3 more, of which were Toby and the Stout Gentleman, Boco the Diseasel, and Donald's Duck.

I of course know the stories off by heart after all the many years I watched the classic Thomas stories on my many VHSs. The ladybird books were only of series 1 and 2, but Buzz went as far as adapting the first stories of series 4. It seems they were repubished quite a bit, my copy of  Boco the Diseasel, was reprinted in 1996, and instead of having a number, it has a Ken Scott Thomas face, could anyone share light on that?

Now here are some pictures from the books

You can maybe see that they have a list of the TUGS Buzz books on the Titles page.

Thank you for reading,
Jacob
